Shadow 2 Optic Milling + BUIS for Romeo 1?
« on: May 14, 2018, 08:39:28 AM »
Hey CGW, I am interested in getting my Shadow 2 milled for an optic and wanted to see if you're able to cut for a Sig Romeo 1 while also having the tritium front/rear sights added? I would prefer to have the BUIS added behind the RDS if there's enough room. It was somewhat unclear in the product description if you all had restrictions on the types of red dot that are able to fit with that setup.

I ask about the Romeo in particular because I have a 320 RX that I've been using and love it so I'd like to use that brand.

We can do the Sig Romeo 1 but we do not have a tritium rear (we use the Glock cut sight).  We have the standard black rear and can mate this to a suppressor height tritium front.

Call Scott to discuss more in detail  318-614-7003.

I discussed with David and then Micah over email and got a work order form. Thanks for the great customer service and response time both here and over email!

Makes me much happier and more confident that you all were so prompt. Thank you.

Just wanted to update this to say that CGW did fantastic work on my S2 with an incredibly quick turnaround! They called me after they received the slide to confirm if I wanted to get the BUIS milling and walked me through the complexity. I ended up cancelling and just getting the milling for the Romeo 1 and skipping the BUIS on their advice.

I got it back today and it looks and works great! The regular front sights line up with the notch in the Romeo perfectly as is so my concerns are gone there.

Thanks CGW!
