Sear cage slop

So I have completed a SA conversion of the shadow 2 but I am a little disappointed with how much slop there is in the sear cage. Does anyone have any tips on trying to get rid of it? My stainless does not have the play in the sear cage that this shadow 2 has.

Were you able to pin the sear cage? I do it to mine even if I don?t notice any slop and I?ve always had at least some improvements.

That is what I will be doing this weekend. I don't like the soft mushy feel of the trigger with the sloppy sear cage fit. This is really the first I've had this problem with any of my Czs and it's the most expensive lol.

Dang, sorry about that. This is the first Shadow 2 I?ve heard this complaint for. Like I mentioned, once I did this mos to one pistol that needed it I did it to nearly all my CZ?s. Even if it didn?t feel like they needed it I saw an improvement with my trigger gauge on all of them to some extent and I could feel improvement too. It?s definitely a mod I like doing now. Hopefully you?ll see a solid improvement too!

I don't know how it shoots, but that is a pretty pistol.

I always liked the two tone look and a "light" frame with "dark" slide seems to look the best in my opinion.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Was recently doing a polish and CGW parts install.  Somehow I lost the retaining pin for the hammer pivot pin.  Went through my baggie of pins and found what I think is a pin for the hammer strut.  It fit the orifice but is a bit too long to allow the sear cage to seat fully in place.  Sanded down the length until the cage just fit snugly.  The side benefit is that this tightened up the cage and removed all the play.
