« on: May 29, 2018, 03:44:22 AM »
Hello all,

Just wanted to share my CZ with the forum, 75BD. If anyone has specific tips/suggestions feel free to share, I've been reading  around a lot but there is tons of info to sift through.

Welcome from Texas!

Yes, there's tons of information here, but the SEARCH function, when used in a sub-board area, can help you find what you need.

Good for you! I had bought and sold a bunch of inferior plastic striker-fired pistols before I ever shot a CZ

Welcome. I too purchased a BD as my first pistol. I almost immediately had the Cajun Gun Works (CGW) Pro Package installed.

My suggestion is you commit to only purchasing one pistol per year. Otherwise, like many of us, you will find yourself buying many more CZs in the coming months. I have five CZs with CGW Pro Package, my most recent a .45 ACP CZ 97BE, an amazing pistol every CZ devotee should try shooting.

Great on you . Welcome to the shooting and firearms community.  Welcome to the CZ Family.
Be safe.  Enjoy the journey. Have fun. Listen, learn, ask questions, take some classes.

Take pride in your ownership of a fine firearm.

My first ever pistol was a 75B and never looked back.

Thank you all for the welcome and input. I've seen several people now mention getting a CGW set/package and have certainly been looking into it. Is there anyone that disagrees with this approach?

The 75BD was my first gun purchase as well. Unfortunately, I had to sell it to cover some hospital bills after my first son was born. It's a beautiful gun. I've still got a nice leather holster for it. If I can figure out which box I stashed it in, I would gladly send it to you. I'd rather it get used instead of just sitting and collecting dust.

Wow, that is extremely generous of you. I'd be happy to put it back to use. Are you sure you'd never get another BD though?
