I (half way) messed up putting in cgw FP retaining pin

So,    Putting in the CGW pin I dinged up/folded up one side of it.   Taking it back out and realigning it went it just fine (with a little love).    Should I worry about this?   I amd ordering another for back up of course, but I just want to know if just the tip (love that game..) is messed up should I worry?     I know the picture is bad but it is all I have.

I actually did use a punch... just didn't line up/ guide it right I guess...   Goin to the range this weekend and I have 2 back ups so  we shall see.

It will probably be fine but the cosmetic defect of it would be enough to make me replace it. I always start those with a very soft hammer and finish with a good fitting punch.

Use a roll pin punch to prevent this.
Align properly before starting. Possible just a visual not operation problem.

I don't see why that would ever cause a problem. I mushroomed one then threw the stocker back in for a few thousand rounds, then threw the mushroomed one back in, and thousands later it is all gravy.
