I agree the gun is heavy and not for everyone or every purpose.
I took a group (4oo5) of my brothers to my range to shoot an assortment of my CZs. I asked each what was his favorite. It turns out that their choice correlated to their arm strength and grip strength. Those of us with stronger arms and grips preferred the heavier guns.
One of my goals is to achieve a grip strength akin to Jerry Miculek (3rd son of one of my mother's high school friends). He has been described as "having the grip strength of a silver back gorilla". Watch some of his videos about training with a 2" closet dowel to learn how to reduce muzzle rise.
One of the videos by FK BRNO was shooting boars, but not as a "finishing" shot, but as the original take-down shot due to hydrodynamic shock. They did a similar one taking down a buck at 160 meters with one shot.
This isn't a competition gun unless you're in a life or death battle with someone wearing body armor.
