Competition hammer in a Shadow 2

Hi,
Do i need to modify the sear if i install a competition hammer in my Shadow 2 as you need in the sp-01?

I would fit the safety rather than sear. but yes.

Thanks for the fast reply on my first post!
I have a extra sear if i mess up, so when i get the hammer i think i will try fitting the sear.

Another question, is it only the safety that will not work without fitting the sear and the gun will function fine otherwise?

Yes,  if you sand the safety arm.Option two (if one is available for the S2). Is to just buy a CGW "Adjustable Sear".  A small machine hex screw adjusts in or out to fit the safety arm perfectly in less than 2 minutes.  If you buy another hammer,  just adjust the screw to fit

No.2 is not going to work, we can’t get CGW parts in Sweden. There’s no retailer here and they don’t ship to Sweden, can’t find parts from them anywhere in Europe.

The sear is cheaper then the safety, so work on the sear. My sear just needed 5 light strokes with a small file! Yoe have to file down the arm that touches the safety.
