I took the Stribog completely apart yesterday  and started the camo process. One thing that I learned is that the safety is a two piece design that snaps together and holds that trigger pack assembly in place. It appears that Grand power has made this saftey in a manner that does not allow  it to be disassembled. I ordered a two piece safety and two of the retaining clips that hold the take pins in. The clips could easily be lost when taking this gun apart if one is not careful.  however all parts are on back order.  That won't affect this because I just want some parts for stock, I must leave now and get back on the camo process. I will have it finished this weekend and take some photos on Monday.

The camo is in the final 30 minutes of baking , looks quite sharp , I will put it together tomorrow for photos, main color is a custom medium dark gray metallic that I made this morning, some small parts are armor black with the reptile strips in desert tan with a scale pattern dusted in with sniper green. reptile stripes are out lined with graphite black. then it's back to the range with it.

Yeah I know a picture is a thousand words, but I suck at tech , have smart phone and don't know how to use it , barely know how to use a computer, my son is trying to bring me out of the dark ages. He takes the photos, processes them and then now he has taught me how to upload the to our website which hosts them. From there I add them to my posts. I am and older guy 58 and anti tech. Photos soon as my son takes them processes them. Right now I am doing  a four color ACU camo on an AR and then I will reassemble the Stribog. After I finish the AR in ACU I have a three or 4 color ABU camo job on another AR.  Today my son should be giving me the photos on two others that I finished on Tuesday  a Vietnam Tiger stripe job on a AR pistol and an Air brush camo on a Glock 9mm AR platform, you will see those first in another thread in this section this week.  Sorry you will half to wait a little bit. Now back to work for me.

Thanks for your contribution.

I remember years ago seeing a Canik Shark FC55 that you did way before I got into CZ's. I bookmarked your website so I could go back and look at it.

I still look for used Shark FC's on Gunbroker so I can modify them.

I had one of those kind of months last month ,first we lost our freezer and about $500.00 worth of food, then the dryer failed ,and when we were having the new  dryer brought in we noticed the sewer pipe -cast iron had rotted out and was leaking on the basement floor behind the washer and dryer, fixed that ,then started having major leaks in my shop roof  and then we went on Vaca only to arrive to bed bugs! This has been a good however with Zero problems. Knock on wood! Currently I am getting extra range time testing the new Archon Type B 's that I finally got in. Sept so far so good!

Color are very good but we found that are photos are off ,guns look beter in person than in those photos , my son is using a new program for processing our photos, he a coed writer by trade so he says that the has to tweak his program a bit. The photos came out a little bit on the black and white side  So he will twaek the program a bit.
