Adjustable sights on a compact
« on: June 24, 2018, 02:11:20 PM »
Recently changed the stock fixed sights on my steel framed compact to adjustable Dawson's with a matching fiber optic front.  The stock front sight is too low for this rear sight.  Got it from CGW and had it installed by a local gunsmith.  Now my aiming is more precise and the groups are smaller.  The front sight is very bright and  helps make it easy.

I was inspired to do this by my CZ 75 SP01 Shadow Custom Target, which has similar sights.  The fiber optic rod in the front sight is larger and brighter in the compact.

How are you liking the adjustable setup and what front sight did you end up going with?
