HD Industries Torx grip screws
« on: July 08, 2018, 05:10:00 PM »
Hello all

I just ordered some CZ rubber grips for my 75B.  Right now, have the stock plastic grips and the stock Phillip's head screws.  Looking around I've seen the hex head screws that CZ sells.  Their shipping charges are pretty high.  That led me to shop around and I ran into HD Industries - they sell a nice looking blued set; 2 Torx screws and 2 lock washers that together, with shipping, cost less than CZ's shipping alone!  Have seen some older posts about them on the forum, was just wondering if anyone has purchased these and what you think.  I certainly have no problems using the stock screws, though overall I just think that the hex or Torx heads look a little nicer and more unique (as a tiny detail).

Also, as an aside, if you have them, what size Torx driver do they require?

Many thanks for any observations on them!

I bought my Grip Screws Here:
http://czscrews.angelfire.com
And they use a T-15 Driver
I'd guess this size Screw would use the same size Driver no matter the brand
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

I bought some from them a couple years ago, both blued and stainless. I still have the blued on my competition gun because they look great. I do not use the washer, though. Instead I use a rubber washer, as it holds better for me. I don?t think you can go wrong with these screws. They use a T-15 screwdriver.

I have used the HBI Torx screws with no issues at all, they are good quality.
