Making a pile of bullets for USPSA match this weekend
« on: July 11, 2018, 10:28:57 AM »
I have a cousin coming in town this weekend and I've signed us up for the local USPSA match. I'll be shooting the buds special sleeper 75B and he will be running the new Ruger PC9 (wearing stars and stripes paint). I can't wait to make another pile of bullets (Angus load) on the 650. A couple months ago I failed to engage some targets on a few stages. My goal last time was to engage every target (which I did). This weekends goal will be calling the shots and not waiting for target confirmation (see the holes or hear the ping).

Will post footage later on, happy shooting guys!

How did your match go?  Also, perhaps more importantly, have you been back again?   I know this is a reply to your post from a couple of months ago but I hope you and your cousin had a good match!

Thanks,
My cousins wife wouldn't let him go. I still went and had a decent match. this is the first season I've shot USPSA so I'm counting this season as a learning season. There have been a few speed steel matches between now and then as well. All good fun. I'm working into long range and milsurp completions as well now.

Good to learn you were able to go and enjoyed yourself.  Always something new to learn and improve upon which is one of the things I really like about USPSA or, really, any of the shooting competitions I take part in.  Too bad for your cousin, though :)

What is the Angus load?

Thanks
