Keep in mind there are 2 types of 75 omegas. The current version is convertible, has ambidextrous safety/decocker, forward pivoting decocker, flatter trigger (similar to P07/09) and different rear sight. Older version is a safety model, not convertible and looks very similar to the standard 75b.
As to your Q. I have a P01 Omega convertible and am completely satisfied. Great gun that I?m using this IDPA season. Believe some who posted problems had them made in 17, haven?t seen too many issues reported in those made in 16 or 18.
As for the the older omega, believe it?s no longer made, but I may be wrong here. A solid gun, no issues that I?m aware of. Only real comment is some report one can improve the trigger on the standard 75 series better than on the original omega model.
