CZ Scorpion accuracy @ 100 yards
« on: July 25, 2018, 02:50:59 PM »
Went to range yesterday and once I got Meprolight M21 dialed in, it was accurate at 100 yards standing. I want to buy another one but without the faux suppressor. It almost got too boring because it was so effortless. Most folks running ARs thought it was higher caliber suppressed and surprised to hear it was 9mm.

I was getting 2 inch groups at 50 yards with cheap ammo, 115 and 124 grain on first range trip.  Probably could have got better but I was struggling with the heavy trigger. Ordered a HBI spring kit to put in and I?ll try again later but I was happy with the groups.

I zero my Scorpion at 25 yards
That gives you the ability to shoot from 7 yards to 100 yards with no holdover.
Just put the dot in the target and you will hit within 1.5 inches of point of aim.

Your 100 yd group looks better than your 50.

@ Docduracoast.   Curious as to weight and velocity of the ammo you are using.

Scorpions just love the heavier grains. 124, 125 ,140 etc. And accurate as hell. 115s can vary wildly depending on brands
CZ Scorpion Evo S1 Pistol:

SLR Synergy Mini comp
SBT-EVO Brace
PMM Safety Levers
Dual HBI Prostock Charging Handles
Gearhead Mag Release
HBI Trigger Spring
HBI Delta Trigger

I agree the heavier the better the sweet spot is the 124 grain for most as that is a common nato load I think that is why it works with the twist rate of our guns. 115 grains works but I have a 2 click adjustment on my sparc 2 at 50 yards to get better accuracy with light loads like 115.

I shoot a lot, so I shoot Winchester White Box 115 grain ammo from Walmart.
My Walmart Supercenter in Boynton Beaxh is open 24/7 so I can buy ammo and Kaboom laundry detergent at 4 am
