Brought Home A CZ 97 BD Today

After over 6 months of waiting, I brought home a CZ 97 BD today! It feels great and I cannot wait to take it to the range tomorrow.

FYI, for anyone else who might be looking for one, I have received multiple notifications from various websites over the past 9 days saying they have them in stock. The boat must have arrived with the 97s.

I?ll post back tomorrow with how she shoots.

Good choice you will love it  if you reload SWC bullets keep the lip of the bullet about .030" above the case mouth to avoid feeding problems.

The 97 is an outstanding pistol. Mine relegated all my 1911's to orphan status. Enjoy that new gun!

Took her to the range yesterday! I also shot my 75 which I have had for about a year. I was able to get more bullseyes with the stock 97 than my upgraded 75! It was pretty amazing. I cannot wait to go back to the range.

I had some pretty high expectations from reading everyone?s experiences with the 97 and I have to say that my expectations have been met.

They are a serious beast yet they are possibly the softest shooting .45 on the market. Unlike a 1911 I can shoot several hundred rounds through my 97 and not come home with my thumb bleeding from a 1911's thumb safety or the web of my hand beat up from the good old GI grip safety.

Congrats.  I totally agree that the 97 is a beast and a soft shooter.  However, my Tanfoglio Witness Match Elite 45 is a little bit softer shooting.  I just wish the mag capacity was a little higher to at least match my Glock 21 or Sar k245.  I don't even shoot my 1911's anymore and will be selling/trading them off.

Riflegear.com is where I purchased mine. Looks like they still have 1 more 97 BD left in stock as of this post. First time buying from them. They shipped quickly and I received what I ordered. I have nothing bad to say and would buy from them again in the future.

I was also following this site daily which is when I noticed some other sites have in-stock availability as well. I cannot speak to if the other sites are reputable. I would suggest a google search of the website and reading the reviews from google.

She?s gorgeous!!! Great choice! I too, joined the family today, and could not be happier. Went for a quick 100-round dial-in and to get acquainted today, going again tomorrow for a longer stay. Enjoy those beauties fellas!
