How will you keep it at that level/intensity?As brass oxidizes it gets darker/greener.
where'd you get those magazine base plates?they're gorgeous!
Awesome.What process did you go through.Quite ballsy to do that to a really expensive set of grips.

The fumes help with the process so don?t just leave them in open air. I checked it after about 2 hours and then after about 8. There were some spots that weren?t corroding quite like I wanted so I added some additional ammonia and salt to get it working a little more to my liking. In all I left them to patina (sounds better than corrode ) for about 24 hrs.And.....yes, it was a leap of faith, but then again it was a somewhat calculated risk. Can?t say I knew exactly what the result was going to be but was open to being a mad scientist for a bit.....emphasis on the mad part
