Threading a 527 in 6.5 Grendel

Hello,
I?m looking hard at a bolt action in 6.5 Grendel. My question is has anyone threaded one of these before? I know the barrel tapers but didn?t know if there was enough to thread this in a standard 5/8 by 24.

Your standard 527 will not have enough barrel wall to thread 5/8x24, you may be able to get away with 1/2x28 but you will run into problems with needing to modify muzzle devices which are typically for 22 cal guns and accuracy issues when the barrel heats up.
CZ does make a suppressor ready 527, you can?t tell from the picture that the barrel is spotter profiled until the very end where they left it beefy for 5/8x24 and a shoulder

That link is for a 7.62x39 or 300 BLK.
I have a 527American in 6.5 Grendel, and have not measured the end of the barrel, but it is thin.

Thank you for the info. I do have a 527 in 300BO and notice the barrell flanges out at the end for the threaded muzzle. I went with a Howa 1500 in 6.5 with a MTD Chassis.
