Is this normal wear?

New-ish SP01 Urban Grey - After about 1k rounds, the finish is mostly gone off my barrel

Is this a normal wear rate/pattern? I've kept it lubed in this area, but it's still seen quite a bit of friction apparently.

Just the finish wearing off. Not to be alarmed. If you start feeling wear lumps or burrs then alarmed you should be.

OEM barrel finish from CZ is pretty crappy to be frank. So yeah, looks normal.
