Bob,

Good to see you here.

First, just a quick note to say how much I enjoy my PT-CBOB in 10mm. I have used it in many classes with 1000's of rounds and have had no problems. It handles recoil with ease, is exceptionally accurate, carries well, and takes whatever I feed it. I really like this gun and can't say enough about it - job well done!

Second, thanks for continuing to support the 10mm with your offerings.

Third, I would love a CZ in 10mm to complement my DW!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome Bob, as a long time member of the 1911forum, it's good to see you here......I love my CBOB, It's a pre CZ and probably the most impressive 1911 I own, even against my Kimber's, Colt's, and Springfields.....Keep up the Great work

Howdy Bob!

Where are the Dan Wesson revolvers?  I hope that CZ has not relegated them to the dust bin of history!

Speaking of history, with a name like Dan Wesson I could see a CZ/Dan Wesson cowboy revolver patterned after the old Smith & Wesson No. 3 or Schoefield.  Only Uberti currently makes any S&W reproductions and they are pricey and very hard to find.

For whatever reason, S&W discontinued their support for the continuation of the Schoefield.  Those were soooo nice.  The world has enough Colt SAA clones.  We need a new cowboy gun, made here or in the Czech Republic that will compete!

Hi Bob!

Yeah, I am eveywhere!
You have some good people on this board. For those interested ( As Mike knows) there is a great deal of info on the DW's on the 1911forum as well. Just goto the DW section...also ask or search about "Stumpblower". I hope the "tradition" continues here as well.

Take care all,
Art

Glad to see the DW forum and Bob Serva on the CZ forums.  Thanks for your time and attention Bob.

I recently purchased a Pointman 7 in 10mm and a Pointman Major in .45 ACP, both are stainless.  Excellent pistols.

Are there going to be any carbon steel blued 1911's available again?

Thanks for all the Welcomes. The revolvers are not gone. We are shipping the 7445-AGS (Alaskan Guide Special) and the 7445-VH8 with the drilled and tapped option. A new series of pistol pack is in the works and also a survivals Revolver with accessory rail. So, Yep, you will see some new items in the revolver category coming.

Thanks,
Bob

Welcome Bob,

I know your are a DW guy and this is a DW forum, but I, and I think many other CZ owners want a SA/DA 10 mm. The CZ97 would be a good starting point. Why loose all that business to EAA Corp. I will be first in line.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello and welcome aboard.

Here's a couple of items for consideration.

1.   A sa/da automatic in .357 sig would be nice.

2.   Also, I've seen some revolvers recently manufactured for automatic ammunition such as 380, 9mm, 45 cal, et cetera.

That's seems appetizing because it offers more calibre, and ballistic characteristic options, than the typical basic 38/357 revolver choices, and can offer ammo interchangabilty for those who possess both automatics and revolvers.

I'd like to see revolver choices in the typical automatic caliber options.  This will allow the customer to select from a greater selection of ammo choices, based on his need, and couple it with the characteristics of his preferred handgun; ie, reliability and simplicity of revolvers, versus the speed and greater ammo capacity of the automatic.

Food for thought.....

Greetings, Bob... thanks for your efforts to monitor the fourms; it feels great to have a voice!

While on the subject, is there any chance we'll see some DW offerings in California?  I know they have the deck stacked against the manufacturers, and it's expensive, but I am holding hope that CZ's - already on the approved list - catch on as they should, and that DW pistols and revolvers are available...

Am I being unrealistic?  BTW, this quote -

"...I, and I think many other CZ owners want a SA/DA 10 mm. The CZ97 would be a good starting point. Why loose all that business to EAA Corp. I will be first in line."

In my dreams, I walk into a local dealership and get to choose between what DW I want, in 10mm, 45... I don't want to wake up!:smokin

Thank you all for your input and nice comments. Yes we are testing the PM-7 and the Commander Bobtail both in 45 acp for CA. The CA items should be ready to ship around the first of the year.

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob, nice to see you here. I own two Dan Wesson revolvers, a 744 Pistol Pack and an old 14-2 .357 Magnum.

I'll be purchasing the Bobtail Commander as soon as you guys offer it in 9X23 Winchester (or 9X19 or .38 Super).;)

I forgot to mention, I heard you had a pretty good trip back to the Czech Republic.  I'm good friends with one of the people you went with, he had some really nice pictures of the trip too.
