I agree, very cool make-over.  What does the gun weigh with empty mag inserted?

I don't have a small enough scale to compare. working on that, but the milled slide does feel considerably lighter than the stock one.

just about 4 weeks, the CZC will quote you 4-8 weeks depending on what their backlog is.
I've shot this in 3 matches so far (changed the Jpoint 4moa I had on there to a Venom 6moa)
and I absolutely love it. The 6moa seems like it's just about a perfect size to use for both USPSA and Steel challenge shoots.
I have an JPOINT 8moa on my M&P 9L and that I like better for steel but not so much for USPSA, so the 6MOA is a great compromise (for me anyway)
the gun is noticeably lighter with the lightening they did. The one complaint I had about th eS2 is that it was a bit heavy and I could
feel it during transitions (as compared to my M&P). Now it's heavy enough to easily stay on target but lightened enough
that I can transition much better with it now than I initially could.

ETA: Nvm, just saw that you don't have a scale  ;) if you happen to get one I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in the measurements.

Do you happen to have a scale? I'm curious how much the stock slide weighs compared to the CZC worked slide. Minus the barrel, guide rod, and spring.

Sent mine to Cajun for milling.  Once received they called and asked if I wanted to make weight for Carry Optics...so I opted for the lightening cut in the top of the slide, a polymer guide rod, and additionally a raised front sight.

On the plus side, the milling and mounting appears beautifully done.

On the neutral side, I'm not sure that replacing the front sight was necessary given how low the Vortex Venom sits (I added it because the venom is so small I thought it would help me get the dot on target).  I may put it back on to see for myself.

On the (barely) minus side, the polymer guide rod Cajun sold me is too short to reach into the slide hole and won't align without help; result being the slide will not rack.  CGW and I are dealing with this and I expect they'll do the right thing.

3 weeks for to door, and three days of that was a shipping "oops".

Looks great. What does the gun end up weighing in that config?

I had the same issue with the polymer guide rod. It's really intended for the SP01/Shadow 1 which is why it's a little shorter from what i could gather. Not sure I'd trust it long term as the rear disc portion of it got damaged already just trying to get it seated in the frame when cycling the slide. Hoping either CGW or CZC will release a Shadow 2 specific polymer guide rod in the future.

No clue...I don't have any scales.  They said I would have to get some lighter grips also, but I'm holding off for now, especially given that I had to go back to the stock guide rod.

That's what they told me as well.  Sad part is that they acted like they'd never seen this before.  Did you talk to CGW to tell them of your guide rod issue?
