my shooting partner has both (well the Target II) and he went with the Target II
his hands a little smaller than mine so the trigger reach was more comfortable for him on the II
also the trigger out of the box is a little better on the Target II than the S2, especially the lack of creep in SA mode.
I stayed with the S2 because I like the size and weight. I've now had the slide milled for CO changed out all of the springs and have an
S2 disco I am going to install, so I'm all in with this thing.
I like shooting both but still prefer the S2.
make it criminal to own a gun and only criminals will own them

Wouldn't the S2 be a better fit for smaller hands? because of the way the back of the gun cuts in?

I have an AccuShadow and a Shadow 2 and the S2 has a wider grip frame so it's a little harder for my stumpy hands. Thin grips make it a little easier.

I've got a Shadow Target 2 with wood grips factory target dated 2009.  The latest web info states gun has checkered aluminum grips.  Was there a change?  Is wood thinner than aluminum?

Hiya and thx for the thread. I'd try you tube, they do great on comparisons. And the show and tell with videos helps you picture the distinctions much better than say the cz catalog.Be well.
