Just picked up a new Rami today and it is as stiff as you say. There is no dropping the slide on an empty mag at this point. The mag release is also pretty stiff. Interesting enough, it was also bone dry.  I just finished a throrough cleaning and am going to leave it wet for my first range trip tomorrow. I plan on running 200 rounds through it so we will see what that does.  I?ll report back later.
I've got over 500 rounds through and she's worked in nicely. Still very difficult to release on an empty mag, but possible. Mag release is still a little stiff, but definitely better. Ironically, I just got off the range and got in my truck when I saw this alert. She's shooting smooth and accurate. Just got a stealth gear usa appendix rig in today and replaced the poly clips with ulti clips and she's comfortable and highly concealable. Great gun!

Ran 250 through mine today and the slide release is definitely loosening up. Still can?t drop it with a mag inserted but there is a difference. I am a slingshotter regardless so it?s not that big a deal for me. The mag release is also working itself in too. Great little shooter.

If you are talking about not being able to release the slide on an empty magazine without pulling the slide back first. That is the way the RAMI is designed. I had the same issue when I first got my RAMI. All the other semi-autos I owned allowed one to release the slide without "slingshotting". I contacted CZ since I thought that I had a defective RAMI. They informed me of the "feature".

That?s strange, mine releases with an empty mag, all my CZ?s do.  I haven?t heard of people not being able to release on an empty mag, especially once everything is worn in. [emoji848]

Ok then. Good to know. Glad I?m not a slide release guy!

They are great little guns. I've carried mine since 2006 and shoot it frequently. It's gone through several guide rods, springs, mags, pins, etc. It has around 3500 rounds through it and has broken in nicely.

Received my new Rami BD two weeks ago.  The trigger pull in SA and DA felt very heavy to me. And like pcherry stated at the beginning of this thread, the sharp edges on the slide are most annoying.  Put 100 rounds through it, flawless!
Anyway, boxed it up and sent it to CGW for the works.  Also ordered an OWB holster from Wright Leather.  I hope to get them back in time to put under the Xmas tree.
