Polishing a high polished stainless 75b?

I did a forum search and couldn't find an answer.  Anyway, what metal polish will take the CZ75b high polished stainless to a near mirror finish?  This would be done by hand and with a drill attached buffing pad if necessary. There are so many products out there to choose from, but I would hate to use something that left the finish in worse shape than before. Mothers aluminum mag polish and Flitz appear to be the popular choice, thanks.

I have read of other CZ owners using Mothers aluminum mag polish and Flitz with good outcome on there SS CZs. I have only used these products on the internal parts of a CZ my self. I am also interested to hear other fist hand accounts of polishing their stainless steel CZs.

I use Flitz but it is only going brighten up a piece that is already taken to a mirror polish. You can not harm the gun with Flitz but you concern me when you mention a drill with a buffing pad.

If your gun is scratched up, none of the products mentioned will remove scratches from stainless steel. SS is tough to polish and if yours is scratched up I suggest you take it to someone that is familiar with both polishing stainless steel and firearms.

I have polished a carbon steel CZ 75 (Prior to rebluing) and it is not a simple firearm to polish correctly. I never polished a stainless steel firearm but have polished stainless Norton and Ducati motorcycle fenders. Used various compounds on various wheels using a 1 HP Baldor polishing motor turning 10" wheels...Polishing stainless steel is not for the uninitiated.

I used to reblu guns for a "living" for a 5 year period and I polished many different firearms. A gun can be ruined by a poor polishing job. I suggest you leave it to an expert, one whose work you can closely inspect before you hand your gun to him or her for work.

I've used Mother's to remove carbon from the front of the cylinder on my S&W 65-3, but the finish of my high polished stainless CZ 75B is plenty bright for me. I wouldn't touch it...

If it isn't already an "almost" mirror finish you need a professional who is REALLY good with stainless like a classic or custom auto place and bring $$$$.  A shop nearby did the side stainless for 65 GTO and  it was $300. Was already bright but customer wanted an almost chrome look.

The Mothers cuts a little better than the Flitz without dulling the finish.
