Question about pro kit for 97BD and PCR
« on: September 05, 2018, 09:41:08 AM »
I installed both and they both shoot very nice.
I?m just curious about one difference I noticed between them though.
With the 97BD kit, it came with a sear spring, but the PCR kit did not, and I reused my OEM sear spring when reassembling the PCR
Just wondering about that...

Could just be the way the 97 kit was packaged at CGW.  The photos of each kit on the CGW site do not show any of the three springs in the Decocker sear cage as being included so they must assume the factory springs will be reused.

I know. That?s what had me wondering why. Enough so that when I was doing the install, I was considered calling them to ask about it, but I wasn?t TOO worried . I have to say the trigger in the 97 feels better( no gauge) than the PCR, so I?m not complaining. Just curious.
