It's getting to be time to think about an optic for the Scorpion.

So...

What do you run?  And why did you choose it?

PA micro dot, got it on Black Friday sale. They?re decent enough for a cheap red dot but eventually I?m gonna get a duty grade optic of some sort

Depends on what the gun is intended; life and liberty equals aimpoint maybe trijicon, fun range toy/blaster equals PA, Holosun, etc. (no shade at PA and the like, got one myself.)

I started out with a TRS-25 and got tired of the battery dying, so I switched to a Holosun 510c that automatically turns itself on and off.  The battery should last for years.

They can be had all over the internet for less than $300.

I have a Vortex Sparc 2 on the Scorpion because I had it. Any microdot fits very well on these.  Low mount will cowitness with the stock sights.

I've tried two cheap optics but had them both fail. It's Eotech, Aimpoint, Trijicon or bust, I'm afraid.

I'm very happy with my Leupold DPP and I feel very confident adding it to your list.

Vortex Spitfire 1x (the original, not the AR version).  I chose it because I have an astigmatism, plus I like the idea of an etched reticle so battery failure isn't a big issue.

I have the Holosun 403B, has the auto on off, 50k hours of operation, shuts down if sitting still for at least an hour which is adjustable to stay on 8 hours. Small, compact, clear, brightness adjustable, easy to adjust. I have one on an AR as well. Last one was $139. If you are concerned about a unit being fragile or lacking in longevity,  buy from Brownell's, no hassle returns on virtually anything except ammo.

Interestingly enough, the cheap TRS-25 Bushnell works perfectly on the Scorpion, cowitness and all.

I went with the new PA Cyclops + ADM mount = super low height, perfect for the scorpion

I have the same setup.
Here is my target at 25 yards and 75 yards. Is not great as I wanted. I can't complain  considering with my aging eyes.
