Always leary of the quantity claims. 25 year anniversary was a great example. # of 2000 stamped. Didn't tell us it was # of 2000 with one type of grip, # of 2000 on another grip and same for a 3rd grip as well as the same in # of 500. So several thousand that all look rare.

It's hard to fight the urges produced by marketing schemes.

I just don't see a manufacturer the size of CZ setting up to make a run of 150.

Well, if they are building some things in stainless, I'll take a CZ-SP-01 Tactical, thank you very much.

Dang, the ones that had buy now were gone by the time I got into work... Now it is just ones with bids only. Anyone know of some shops selling them directly rather than this bidding garbage?

I suppose you could just ask your local gun shop to order one for you if they deal with the distributor.

If the one on GB is brand new, I want to see the box with the factory description.  Something, anything, official from CZ.  Not just internet rumours, which as far as I'm concerned, is all we have right now.

NOTE: I stand corrected.  I just spoke with Jarrod at CZ USA and confirmed that 150 CZ-P01's in stainless steel were imported and sent to one distributor.

So 150 imported, I wonder how many were made. I hate being skeptical, but. . .

If P01 like slide says it should be decocker rather than safety?????
My thoughts exactly! Looks like a hodge podge of a 75 compact with rail and a p01 slide. I love my p01 but have no Interest in this w/ safety other than maybe as a SAO conversion

Might be fun to slide swap with a regular
Blue p01 or PCR and create a couple of 2 tones

I?m really tempted but the safety means I probably won?t.  Even though this would strictly be a range gun I can?t commit to buying a safety model when decockers are out there.  Just not in this finish from the factory.

I hope they are really making high polished stainless P-01s...I'd love to have one, but I'm not sure how well that would fly with my wife. ::) I mean I already have two P-01s (standard and Omega) and a high polished stainless 75B plus a 75B Omega. I just need "one" more honey...  8)

^^ If it is a polished stainless maybe it will blind her and she will not notice. Just make sure to turn the lights up when you bring it home.  ;D
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The interesting thing is CZ consciously rollmarked this FIRST compact stainless slide as a P01 rather than something else.  My heart is beating faster, but still concerned whether the frame is stainless, too!  C'mon traditional compact in SS!  C'mon RAMI in SS!  Light up the BBQ!

The beaver tail on the SS frame matches the one on the steel framed P-01 that also has the P-01 roll mark.

I?ve got two of the original versions of these in polycoat. I converted one to SAO and gave it the works. It has red grips and I call it the Scarlett Pistol since it will go to my daughter. It?s nick name is the 1911 killer. I got the trigger to a super crisp 1 lb 15 ounces with something like a 3mm reset. It?s incredible!!

The second has a red dot and also has all the goodies. It?s my home defense pistol and long range pistol. I?ve shattered a clay pigeon at 140 yards with it from a standing 2 hand grip.

Everyone who shoots them loves them. The feel of the grip, the balance, the minimal recoil (they?re heavy), and everything else. I?ve had many offers to buy the Scarlett Pistol after shooting it, but it?s never leaving.

Anyways, there?s tons of info on moding these and they?d make a great SAO conversion. It?ll take a bigger safeties too.
