If P01 like slide says it should be decocker rather than safety?????
My thoughts exactly! Looks like a hodge podge of a 75 compact with rail and a p01 slide. I love my p01 but have no Interest in this w/ safety other than maybe as a SAO conversion

I?ve got two of the original versions of these in polycoat. I converted one to SAO and gave it the works. It has red grips and I call it the Scarlett Pistol since it will go to my daughter. It?s nick name is the 1911 killer. I got the trigger to a super crisp 1 lb 15 ounces with something like a 3mm reset. It?s incredible!!

The second has a red dot and also has all the goodies. It?s my home defense pistol and long range pistol. I?ve shattered a clay pigeon at 140 yards with it from a standing 2 hand grip.

Everyone who shoots them loves them. The feel of the grip, the balance, the minimal recoil (they?re heavy), and everything else. I?ve had many offers to buy the Scarlett Pistol after shooting it, but it?s never leaving.

Anyways, there?s tons of info on moding these and they?d make a great SAO conversion. It?ll take a bigger safeties too.
We wanna see pics!

I've done 4 CZs with Cgw parts and gotten excellent results on all. But, for my uses the decker is preferable, though a sao would be ok as I do run 1911s sometimes and could follow that same manual of arms.

Pretty much saturated with 9mms right now but, if we are wishing, how about a 97BD in ss?

I couldn?t find the pics with the one that got the red dot... I?ll keep looking. Here?s some pics once they were both spiffed up.

Looks great. I would love to have that style safety on my 75b. Is that a stock part from an sao or where does one get such a part?

That is a stock Tactical Sport safety. It won?t fit a standard 75 since it?s made for the wider frames.  I think they have a similar one for the 75?s and original Shadows (Shadow 2 has wide frame like the TS and these pistols).

^^ If it is a polished stainless maybe it will blind her and she will not notice. Just make sure to turn the lights up when you bring it home.  ;D

Good idea! ...or maybe I could use the "...no it's not another new gun, dear; I've had that old thing for years..."

I just called one of the stainless P-01 sellers on Gunbroker, and he pulled the only one they had and said it's a stainless steel frame.  I also asked what was the MSRP on it, and he didn't know since somebody else listed it. Right now that's top secret.

This may show MSRP, can't be sure though.

It did ($731.06), thanks.  I'll wait till prices fall to the $650-670 range, but it might take a long while.

I'd pay up to $700 for one...if one was available at the same time I had the extra cash (...unlike now, when I just had to replace two air conditioning units at my house...).

Very nice! Cz should have considered chroming the mags imo. Kinda makes me want to master blue my 99041 and pick this one up to contrast.

I just don't see a manufacturer the size of CZ setting up to make a run of 150.

Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Actually they could pretty easily..If you think about it, these pistols are basically P01's with a slightly different frame, since they use investment casting method to make the frames, which uses a wax mold, they can easily produce as many or few as needed. It's just a simple matter of whether they're melting down stainless, or carbon steel.. The slides if I'm not mistaken, are made from barstock, they already have CNCmachines all tooled up to make P01 slides, all they need to do is put a peice of stainless barstock in, instead of a peice of carbon steel, ditto for the barrels, likely the same as stainless 75 barrels, just shorter.. So, basically they're already set up to make these, and can easily make more if they want to, which is why I doubt the limited production numbers CZ is quoting. I suspect we'll see more of these as time goes on..

Better yet, make the mags from stainless as well. If you're gonna go, might as well go first class.

I didn't mean they couldn't, I meant I don't see them doing such a small run. The CZ rep said "imported 150", not made. I think some more will miraculously show up. Maybe they create this hype to reward loyal distributors with an opportunity to make a very nice mark up.

I'd prefer the COMPACT roll mark in ss over the P01 mark to go with my 99021. Even better, brushed/bead blasted ss like the Limited 75B was...
