Factory night sights or not...

Afternoon gang! Yeah, yeah, I know, I haven?t posted anything in a long time. Just been extremely busy with work and having fun during my limited time off. Anyway....

The LGS down the road from where my company?s terminal is up in Berea, KY ALWAYS has a well-stocked supply of CZ pistols and has become my go-to place when I wanna Czech something out, whether I?ve previously owned it or not. I stopped in last week to pay off another pistol I had on layaway and noticed that one of the new FDE P-10C?s in the case had night sights on it different than what I?ve ever seen as a CZ factory option. In my rush of immediately putting it on layaway I neglected to take any pics but can describe the sights as so:

A white outline front tritium dot with a serrated rear, but the rear was without the traditional white outline ring and looked to be smaller diameter tritium vials. Picture these night sights from my CZ Custom-ized CZ 100, but minus the rear white outlines (similar to the Night Fision sights).





Have I just not been paying attention to the market, or am I missing something? Again, the pistol is NIB.

That?s how my FDE P10C is. I?m guessing the tritium vials are probably all the same size but look different with and without the white ring around. The rear sight is clearly painted.  You can see the corners of mine showing the paint wearing.  There is clearly paint around the outside of the rear vials.  Probably why they look smaller than the front.  It is great for me because it makes the front stand out more.  David

I think I found ?em. Somehow, someway it looks like mine has the CZ Custom night sights installed, just never known them to come standard, as it?s always been unmarked Meprolites on my others. When I get back up to Kentucky in another couple of days or so I will take a picture of mine for comparison.

Same here. The FDE I'm contemplating has night sights, front with a white circle and the rear ones are with black circles. Although for some reason, after seeing them live, I'm not 100% impressed.

I finally received my P10C with factory night sights. Mine also has the white outline on the front blade only. At first I was not really impressed but after a few range trips I?m loving them. The pistol is such a natural pointer that I pick up the front easily and at night I can still line them up even without my trifocals on. 👍

My FDE P10C came with night sights like the ones pictured by dwhitehorne. They are very small and hard for me to pickup, Im not planning to keep the P10 so not going to replace them! It would have been nice if they installed quality sights like come on my HK VP9 and SIG Sauer's!

The example I have has the same on the rear but has an orange ring painted around the front sight.  Kind of like the Trijicon HDs I had on my S&W 2.0 9c (though not as bold/nice as the HDs).  Still, from the factory rather impressive.

I have two FDE P10Cs.  The first one did not come with night sights, but the second one came with the orange ring front night sights.  Last month, I put a set of the Night Fission night sights on the original P10 (Yellow front, blacked out, U-notch rear).

I love the new sights and am considering replacing the factory night sights with the same type that I have on the other one.  If I were to buy another P10C, I would not get the factory night sights.  Instead, I?d get the cheaper sights and replace them with a set of Night Fission sights.
