Title: 75585 old style trigger
Post by: puddintame on June 22, 2019, 01:23:50 PM
I need to replace my PCR trigger because of "bite" and want to buy this....https://cajungunworks.com/product/75585-85c-old-style-trigger/
is there anything else I need from CGW to make this happen? the pistol is mostly stock atm except for some springs. would like to order asap so my LGS can do the install.

It is optional but I would add the floating trigger pin and a reduced power trigger return spring.  Just my opinion.

Be sure that your LGS has worked on decocker CZ models before, as it can be tricky to remove the sear cage to free the trigger bar.

Sear cage does not need to be removed to swap the trigger

If it were me, I'd order the CGW slave pin and do the install myself.  You'll learn quite a bit in the process and it's really not that hard.

The floating trigger pin is a must.  If you don't own any punches, get a starter punch too.  Since you'll have it apart (assuming you pull the cage), you can polish the trigger bar to smooth the action.  A small assortment of punches is good to help remove the pin completely once started with the starter punch.

Cheers,
Toby

hi,

i dont like shadow 2 stock because it feels round (small contact area) to me, not enought contact with finger.
i prefer "thick" trigger because it feels wider in contact with finger, not round.

i would like to know how "old style" CGW trigger feels..?
