I've seen a murmur that KNS is developing an adjustable piston for the VZ-58:

That would be awesome!!! Adjustability and another 922(r) part if you need one!
Hopefully, it will be a drop in part, as their pistons on AKs can be a bitch to install on the carrier.

Yes, the lack of Vz58 US-made 922r pistons is insane. Thought CNCW would come back in stock by now, but crickets.
I suspect KNS will need to provide an overporting drill kit and/or a recoil spring kit w/ the piston to allow for subsonics through full power suppressed rounds though -- and hopefully they do so.

Would be neat. I have a dead air mount for my vz but have yet to try it out.
