VZ-58 KNS adjustable piston in development
« on: December 12, 2022, 04:15:30 PM »
I've seen a murmur that KNS is developing an adjustable piston for the VZ-58:

Awesome news for anybody wanting to shoot suppressed.

That would be awesome!!! Adjustability and another 922(r) part if you need one!

Hopefully, it will be a drop in part, as their pistons on AKs can be a bitch to install on the carrier.

Yes, the lack of Vz58 US-made 922r pistons is insane.  Thought CNCW would come back in stock by now, but crickets.

I suspect KNS will need to provide an overporting drill kit and/or a recoil spring kit w/ the piston to allow for subsonics through full power suppressed rounds though -- and hopefully they do so.

Would be neat. I have a dead air mount for my vz but have yet to try it out.
