It is different! What is the finish called? Looks good, but not my cup of tea.
-
How about a two-tone?
-
I like it. What type of finish is it?
-
Looks even and well applied. What type of finish is that? It's not my cup of tea but looks nice.
-
I take it that's not your Copperhead Schmeky. But I do like the finish.

I was thinking the same thing...hopefully Schmeky has more tricks up his sleeve this fall. ;D

It looks like the Hard Chrome by APW Cogan that I have on the frames of my Cajunized 75B .40 Bi Tone and 97BE to me. I like it a lot.
-
Oh that is just sweet... just answered a question that I had as well... ;D

YES! YESYESYES! Do like very much!

I think that would make the perfect mate to my satin nickel compact. Want me to forward my address? ;D

The CZ satin nickel and nicely done hard chrome finishes always look nicer than stainless to me. Nice finish.
-
My honest opinion on this one is, I can't say I like it a lot. I would look right past it if it were on display.

It looks good, but it's always hard to judge a finish by a photograph. There are just so many points on the matte vs shiny axis that it's the kind of thing you really need to see up close, turning in your hands to see it under various angles against the light. Is that satin nickel? Generally speaking, that's my favorite handgun finish, but again - there are subtle differences within those finishes, and I'd really need to see it up close to judge.
Therefore, I think the logical solution is to just send me that gun for observation and objective analysis (the two "obs").
For science.

I had my upper hard chromed after the poly coating got a nick in it. I have since traded the wood grips for aluminum (black). I didn't see the point in chroming the aluminum lower, plus it saved me a bundle on shipping and chroming fees as the upper is not a handgun ($70 vs. $170).

I will be ordering the parts for the P01 probably later today. I can't wait to see how it compares when fully modified to the compacts and RAMI I have.
-
I like it.
-
I can appreciate the quality I see, but don't prefer the black hammer, sights,& grips and that finish color. BTJ me.

I dig it but i think it could use some new grips. I gotta say though its hard to beat the feel of the stock rubber/plastic grips.
