cz 85 early model
« on: September 08, 2020, 09:32:44 PM »
I am looking at a early version of a cz85 made in 1981, what mags will work with this, and what kadet kit also ?
Thanks.

You sure about the year?  I was under the impression that it was introduced in "85".  I have an 86 wit a 3 digit serial number.

Whatever mags were available for the early model 75 should work.
If you can't stand the answer, don't ask the question.

Echoing Frenchkat, the CZ 85 did not exist in 1981. Perhaps you’re referring to a 1991?

Shouldn't that (sort of) oval behind the ejection port be stamped with the year of manufacture?

I can't make out the numbers from that second picture.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Interesting idea for the 85C but the pre B 75 uses a bit narrower mags than the 75B and 85 C.
I think Greg Colts sells the pre B 75 mags.

yeah I noticed that with a friend who had a realy old cz75, my mags didnt fit his gun, we wondered why, the gunstore owner told us that it should fit, but apperently they are smaller.

for the combat85 shadow2 mags fit, I use 2 chrome ones and one black shadow 2 mag
