Right now I leave a streamlight flashlight at my night stand but I am wanting to get either the tlr7 or the xc1b and a new set of sights. Ive decided that since this is going to be an edc gun and its not already milled for a red dot im probably going to hold out on the red dot for this gun and maybe get a P10for and put the red dot on it. For now im really interested in trying out the xs dxt2 sights for the edc p10c build.

I'm not saying don't do any upgrades...I like to customize my blasters too, but just ask yourself why before you do.

The P-10 is reliable out of the box. The cgw striker is a good upgrade, though.

I've never heard of a cover plate shattering before and am skeptical. Do you have a link to the thread?

A comp MAY make your gun LESS reliable, so don't just slap one on and think you're good.

IMHO, people make triggers out to be a bigger deal than they are, especially for defensive use. That being said, I found the stock trigger to be very good, just uncomfortable in that I'd get a blister on my finger somewhere between 50-100 rounds during practice. I installed an HBI with the stock springs and it doesn't bite me as bad anymore.

Good sights are critical, even with an RMR.

Beyond that, the best upgrades you can make are not hardware, but software. Get training and practice. I'm guilty of chasing the shiny new thing as much as the next guy, but trying to force myself to shift my budget to 80% training and 20% toys...just after I buy this one last thing... [emoji14]

My striker plate in my vp9 broke on the inside. When the slide locked back, it would fall out if touched. And knly when pushed down.  Gun fired no problem.

HK send me another one.

Im having a hard time deciding what night sights to go with. Its harder cause I dont have the luxury of trying a bunch of sights out. I like the idea of the xs sights but i dont like that some people complain that they arent very good precision sights but then again some people argue that. I also like the night fision acurr8 style sights and I am thinking they might be a good in between option. I will keep yall posted on what i get and what i think of them. If anyone has some experience on my dilemma please feel free to chime in.

FWIW ... The XS sights are precise enough and very easy to acquire in all lighting.  When I bought my XS sights, my objective was to as rapidly as possible acquire a good sight picture on a target within 21 feet.  You can kind-of aim small, but this big golf ball in your field of view makes hitting a target further out increasingly difficult.  For my G26, the XS made sense.  The Night Fision looked great on YouTube.  However, when reading the reviews out on OpticsPlanet, some people are less than happy with what was delivered.  Trijicon and Ameriglo are both dependable and offer greater precision.  On the recommendation of CGW, I'm getting a Dawson front for my P-10C.  They've proven to be dependable/trustworthy for years, which is why I keep giving them business whenever I need anything CZ. They're relatively local for me.
