My KADET 2 needed just a small amount of fitting, but it does need some (additional) work to get it running 100% with the cheap, Federal Bulk Ammo
I have done a bit more work on it since Christmas, but haven't had the chance to test it
To address the Light Strike issues, I filed a couple thousands more off of the Pin Stop side of the Firing Pin Shoulder, exposing that much more of the Firing Pin to the Hammer
And I knocked a bit more off of the Hard Corner of the Ejector in hopes of solving the Stovepipe issue for good
Then I rounded-off the hard corners of the forward angles of the Trigger Bar Recesses and stoned polished the bottom of each Rail of the Bolt
This significantly smoothed-out the sliding motion of the Bolt, on the Pistol Frame Rails, especially its rearward motion, in hopes of solving the Striping and a few other related issues
Also the Top of the Bolt and the Forward Bolt Guide had a lot of Overspray, which is very gritty, so I cleaned that all up too
Now the Bolt glides quite smoothly when the Kit is loose AND mounted to the Host Frame
I also checked, and the Extractor looks to be as good as it could be
Now to find time for a Hot Test and Sight adjustment
Will report back on that
