I just received 5 10mm mags marked "10mm K2," made by Meccgar, and which are intended to fit that gun and Tanfoglio's 10mm Witness line-up, which EAA also imports.
It seems a little odd to me that the 10mm SARK2 mags would fit the Witness. The Witness in .45 holds 10; k2 holds 14. It seems like that would be significantly different grip dimensions. Of course, I suppose there's nothing stopping them from changing the dimensions for the 10mm version so it matches the Witness.
Also, any chance of you checking to see how many rounds those Mecgar 10mm K2 mags will hold? If the Witness holds 10 in .45 and 15 in 10mm, and the K2 holds 14 in .45, I would expect the K2 to hold in the neighborhood of 19 in 10mm, assuming they kept the dimensions the same.
Well, here's what I know, chief.
The mags came in packages marked "10mm" and "14-rds."
On the label it sez "Witness" and "K2." There are Meccar markings on the mag, the manufacturer.
The mags all have flat bottoms plates, not the earlier Tanfoglio plate w/ that ungodly fat toe protruding at the front.
I carefully removed each mag from its original EAA package and loaded each with DT 200gn 10mm rounds.
All of the mags topped out at
exactly 14-rds.
It was so simple even an honest-to-god Czech could do it.
Just sayin' ...
Pushing harder just to try to get another round in was futile because it was obvious the mag wouldn't take it.
Those claiming that their Witness mags hold 15-rds must have a different type of mag.
