Poor gater, Smecky!
New to my beloved 97B so sorry for the dumb question but what are the advantages of the 1911 bush vs. the CZ indexable bush?
Thanks for your insights!!!

As i understand it the CGW 97 bushing offers an increase in the consistency of lock up witch translates to better mechanical accuracy. It seams that it would also be less likely to move while the pistol is in use.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The oem bushing in my 97B fits more loosely than any of my 75's. To align it with the guide rod plug, you have to unscrew it enough that it becomes loose. I sent it to Louisiana last week for corrective measures Cajun style. From a factory original perspective, the gun would be better served if it was made like the P-09/07 slide and barrel. As it stands, I'm excited to have something worked on by CGW, not just full of their parts.

Tok36 is correct.  The CGW bushing for the 97 completely eliminates the type of failure seen in the stock bushing.  Reliability is 100% and since we carefully precision machine each slide and fit the bushing, the accuracy exceeds the OEM set up by a considerable margin.

schmeky ...is the barrel bushing only available in the stainless finish, or do you offer a Black Polycoat/or similar finish?

Stainless only.  We virtually never get requests for one in blue.
