I know, enough already, but I had a long time away from the range and I'm pretty excited to get out again in the high altitude with some cooler temperatures. And a little wind. I expected today to be cool, but I also expected it to be calm, and it wasn't. Not like yesterday, but still enough to affect the hold with a slow bullet at 100 yards. I was able to make a short video of a good group on paper. I couldn't resist taking a few shots at the hanging steel plate before leaving. I've included the shots from the rest in the video. I tried shooting unsupported single hand but my hands were too cold without the gloves and I was too clumsy with them, so I missed a few shots.
https://youtu.be/Answ5ai_S8IAny week where I can make it to the range three times in a row is a good week! I might make it back one more time before heading home. If it is calm on Thursday or Friday, I might try 200 with the .45, assuming I can find a stick long enough to support an aim point. Or shoot the Kadet if the air temp is above 30F or so.
