you could always wear gloves at the range. never had a problem with any of my CZs being too rough though.

Maybe wrap the grip in baseball bat tape or get some traction grips?

I wrap all of my polymer pistols with hockey stick tape. The P10 has some aggressive grips so a little tape goes a long way.
