OK. I could not resist the cz-75 compact that I saw even though I already have and love a cz-75B, cz - 52 (yes), and (wwife's) cz-83.
Even though it cost more than any of it's previous cousins, I could not resist it. SO.
Some questions. First time out at the range it performed worse than any of my other cz's. Is that because it's new? I hope so. I only put about 300 rounds through it and experience with Makarovs taught me that it takes about 500 before a new gun begins to settle down. I ordered Wolff springs, an 18# recoil and three 5% for the mags. Hope this helps. Anyone out there had this experience? Do these guns improve with use? I did get better results with the two mags of Speer gold dot +P that I put through (that's my preferred carry round) at the end of my session, before that I was shooting S&B and American Eagle 115gr.
It is a pretty pistol, shiney blue (my 75B is a poly coated, Turk contract pistol, and very accurate and reliable). I need to find the right holster for carry. I like the heavy frame of the 75 compact netter than the alloy of the PCR. Maybe it just takes getting used to ergonomically.?
