That's my thought exactly, if the author of the article reference really thinks that (insert favorite gun choice here) is never going to jam, they are ignorant and should re-evaluate their thoughts on the matter.

I just don't understand the mentality of people who call a firearm unreliable because it malfunctioned during high load count training. I'm one of those guys referenced that shoots around 100 rounds during a session, I can't really afford to blow through 2000 rounds in four days. I clean my weapons thoroughly after every range trip and can honestly say I've yet to experience a malfunction with my P-01. If I shot 2000 rounds through my gun without cleaning and experienced a malfunction I'd chalk it up to owner neglect.

If you can't burry it in mud, run over it with a truck or drop it from an airplane, it must be unreliable right? Some of the things people do to guns to determine reliability are just too far removed from real world situations. I don't expect I'll ever have to worry about having to dig my pistol up in order to use it or have to worry about how it will function if I never clean it.

I don't know if you are a member of the USPSA or know someone who is, but I received my issue of Front Site magazine today.  It covers two European shooting championships; the CZ Extreme 2012 and the SVI Infinity European Open.  Looking at the results, a VERY high majority of shooters in both matches used either a CZ, Tanfoglio, or STI/SVI.  (As a side note, Angus Hobdell of CZCustom won the Single Stack division with a Dan Wesson).

People don't win matches with unreliable guns.  And they practice with the guns they compete with.

Sadly the Glock Fan boys always love to site how many police dept.'s use Glocks and how no one uses CZ's, XD's, etc. First Glock offers most police dept's a very attractive price, second and perhaps more importantly they are almost idiot proof and when you have a bunch of people to train many of whom aren't gun people the simpler the firearm the better, no safety to worry about, no decocker, no long heavy DA pull. With Glocks it's just insert a mag rack the slide and she's ready to go. So I have really learned you just can't argue with the Glock fan boy club, I will say look at the number of dept.'s dropping Glock in favor of M&P's. Personally I can't stand feel and  the grip angle of the darn things I have shot a couple and found them hard to shoot well at least for me. I have a decent number of handguns and I always find myself going back to my CZ's no matter how much I really want to like brand XY or Z I just find they don't shoot as well for me. I have had a few issues with my CZ's mostly during the break in period or when I changed ammo.

I did see a real life type of test on the P-07 and it did very well.
No one's gonna to do it for you.

Yeah... that writeup was more than a little biased. A lot of people on the web want to be seen as experts and nothing validates your position more than discrediting alternative perspectives.

Like many of you, I own more than one brand and enjoy both. My Gen2 G22 in .40sw has about 4000 rounds through it and it has had about a dozen FTEs since being refurbished by Glock. Almost all of these were ammo related. Some just happened and I have no idea why. My Sp-01 now has about 1000 rounds thorough it and hasn't had any hiccup at all.

Is it accurate to say I've had more feeding issues with "Glock perfection"? Is it fair to say that my CZ is flawless? Maybe, but....

It is more honest to say that my Glock has been 99% reliable and the CZ has been 100% reliable so far. Like many of you already said, there are way too many variables to consider before decreeing that Gun XYZ is a POS.

Just took the NRA advanced classes, PPOTH and PPOTH instructor, firing a total of about 390rds through my CZ-75C.  Not one problem, not one failure to extract, eject or anything else.  I've got 1000 plus rounds through this pistol without a stoppage.  I'm confident in it.  Lots were looking at the gun, including the instructors, because I was hitting well (it was a good day) and using it cocked and locked (which almost nobody does in those classes).  I'm sold on the CZs and I think other were from the contact with it, though most of them were Glock-ites before the courses.

I just shot re-qualification yesterday morning for my Dept. I shot 56 rounds through a Glock 19, scoring Expert with 242 out of 250. I was not happy - lowest score yet. Then again, since I left and returned, it HAS been two years since I shot a Glock.
This Glock failed to drop the magazine once, had to strip it during the second stress reload sequence. The morning prior I had shot 150 rounds of Berrys and cast lead reloads through my Phantom...with the usual zero malfunctions. Wish the Dept would listen to all the various communications I've sent over the last ten years about switching to CZ...

Here here, 5000 rouns plus or minus a few rounds through my phantom and not one problem. I read the article mentioned above...felt it was absurdly biased. We all know cz's are be best.
