One more thing, the bipod will not go in all the way, so I may need to do a bit sanding. The bipod works perfect on my other VZ (thanks RSR) so I know the culprit is not the bipod itself...
If the bayonet fits, then so should the bipod, especially if it fits the other VZ. Before doing any sanding make sure that you have the bipod locked the correct way and not with the detent protruding. My bipod was a little stiff in the joints and it took me a little lubing and experimentation the first time to figure out how it worked. It wouldn't unlock easily and I initially thought that the detent was just the result of machining that needed to be sanded down. I'm glad I looked it over more carefully and didn't do that. If you haven't seen it, RSR has some simple instructions posted in his thread.
