Well I reserved my final opinion for after I saw it in person. And after seeing it at SHOT Show I didn't care for it on the FDE frame. Nice finish though for sure.
Honestly I'm not 100% sure how much longer we'll be offering nitride. We may be switching to DLC soon in it's place since that's the route we're going on our P-10 barrels and it's an incredibly nice finish!

Is DLC the same as IonBond? I was under the impression that nitriding was somehow a better finish (or maybe just a cheaper one LOL) ... Thoughts?

It seemed extremely durable with high lubricity; very slick with a gun grease applied.
After 4,000 rounds, absolutely no sign of wear. But I just sold it as I want to stay with DA/SA on all my defensive handguns.
