Here is an image of my latest AR build:

It is a 16" RRA midlength post-ban upper assembly mated to a DPMS lower with RRA internals and a 2-stage NM trigger with a 1.5 lb. break. The buttstock is a generic 6-position collapsible unit.
On a whim, I purchased a $25 BSA red dot sight from Wallyworld and mounted it atop the tactical carry handle. At that price, I was not really expecting much from it (read disposable); it was a b!tch to adjust, but once zeroed,
the sight was able to hold sub-4" groups at 100 yards with my reloads. To me, that proved two things:
1. You cannot judge the quality of a product by its price, and
2. Chinese prison labor can put out good products.
(Just kidding on #2 above!
