Anyone know where you can get Sport Pistol?  I just decided to buy some, and my usual suspects are sold out.
Natchez shows 8lb jugs in stock.  It's a little over priced but not bad.
[Natchez does not ship to several states]

Midsouth shows 4lb'rs.  Selway also shows it in stock.

Try:  https://ammoseek.com/reloading/powder/Alliant?ikw=Sport%20

Cheers

Shooter's World Clean Shot has been great for me as a newer reloader. I use it for all my CZ 9mm's and Scorpion. It meters well in a 550c, low smoke with Blue Bullets and pretty cost effective.

I like Power Pistol and AA#5 for distance+accuracy and making power factor if competing.

For bunny fart plinking loads I like Bullseye.

Is that because Bullseye smells like a fart when you shoot it?

Cause it does in  my opinion...?.just saying

Ooh I have smelt powders like that. My nose is worse than my hearing but some of the compounds sort of smell like sulfur to me.

Any of the fast burning pistol powders will work.  But certain powders will work better based on bullet weight.  For a lot of years all I used was HP-38/W231.  Always able to find an accurate load w/out much effort.  And this was across a broad range of cartridges.  The only ?downside? is that it can be ?dirty? if the pressure isn?t kept up.  I clean my guns routinely so I don?t ever think about this particular aspect.

Truth be told it was a lot easier when I only used one powder.  Now I have to many options.  And I don?t think any of the loads are more accurate then the ones I initially developed.  I keep coming back to HP-38/W231 and Universal, for heavyweight bullets, when it comes to 9mm.  Universal works  better w/ 155 grain cast billets which is why I mentioned it.

I want to push a 124 gr bullet at 1100fps. I use Longshot as it fits the bill with a moderate load and works very well in other rounds such as .38 Spl, .45 AP, .40 SW and even my .44 Magnum. YMMV
