Hello,

One of my shooting buddies has a Scout (16.5) and likes it a LOT. He does very well with it vs. critters but LOP is short (fits him great, he is 5'2").

Just a thought :)

I've had a 452 trainer for about 6 years and it has been as accurate as I could want it to be. The iron sights are very good. I have been ableto hit a 12" plate at 150 yards with them. 100 yards with a scope is no issue. The only issue you may have is if you want to run a 3x9 or larger scope. I have a Nikon Prostaff 2x7x32 and it just fits with low rings and the rear sight still installed. I have seen other trainers with the rear sight taken off or used with high rings to get the scope above the sight.
