A great day for reloading
« on: November 25, 2018, 01:34:24 PM »
This morning I woke up to 50 mph winds and snow sounds like a fine day to reload a couple thousand 9mm and 45acp.  To bad my reloading room is in the basement and the fireplace is upstairs.

Mist and blowing like crazy here. We lost 15 degrees of temp in an hour.
And I loaded 170 rounds of 9mm Everglades 124 gr HP and 100 rds of Berry's 124 gr RN.
Great day for loading indeed!

Yes it was a great day to reload. Sunny and 74 degrees here in Arizona. Had the garage door wide open.

It is slightly too cool to be fully comfortable in shorts in Houston, but I am in shorts.  ;)

I was happy that it was in the mid fifties after being below freezing for the past few days.  Instead of reloading I repaired one of my vehicles.  There won?t be many ?warm? days left so I made the most of it.

we are supposed to get 5-9" of snow through sun-up tomorrow, so Monday would be a great day for staying home and reloading if I didn't have to go to work (and if I reloaded).

Woke up about 5 am Saturday morning in Greenbrier County, WV (mom's house).  It was pouring the rain down when I went to the bathroom.  Went back to bed.  Got up late (820 am) and the ground was white and it was pouring the snow.  By about 1 or 2 that afternoon it was gone (ground was too warm to let it stick and it rained off and on all day).

Down here, central VA, I do my reloading out in the garage.  Too cold in the morning on a winter day but by lunchtime the front of the garage can be up in the high 50's to mid 60's on a decently sunny/not windy day and I can get some reloading done.  Out on the bench on the south side (front) of the garage it can be so nice I have to sit there in a t-shirt and long pants to keep from sweating.  A lot of brass gets inspected, sorted, trimmed, and primed while I'm sitting on that bench.  The resizing, powder addition and bullet seating takes place at the bench inside, but close enough to the door I can watch the driveway and listen for the dogs barking.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
