Stealth Gear Issue
« on: December 06, 2018, 05:50:59 PM »
Received my holster a couple days ago and I can?t draw my gun without ripping my pants off. I loosened the adjustment screws until two of them fell out and still had the same problem. I shot SG an email and haven?t heard back from them yet. I?ve heard that SG has great customer service and that they can take a few days to respond so I?m not complaining, but I am curious if others have had a similar experience. Thanks in advance.

Which gun did you order it for?  I have a few SG holsters and can attest to their customer service and warranty. They will take care of you. One of my rigs developed a squeak after 2 years and they sent me a return label and brought it back for a complete spa treatment. It?s been nice and quiet ever since.

PCR.
Wow, after two years? Impressive.

Interesting. Which model? I was thinking about picking one up for my PCR. Please let us know how you make out.

SG replied today. They asked me to send them two photos. One of the holster empty and one with the gun in the holster. Then they gave me two options. Option 1: they ship me a new shell and I install it. Option 2: send back the holster and they adjust it. I?ll probably opt for a new shell. More to come...

Well I sent pictures and no one has replied. I cant seem to be able to speak to a live person. Not the customer service I was expecting.

Never did her back from them. I guess I?ll chalk it up to them being very busy during the Christmas season. I took a blow dryer to the trigger guard and it works great now. Great holster.

SG finally got back to me to say that they would be shipping me a new shell to try. Yes, it?s taken longer than I?d like, but, they did the right thing in the end. Thank you SG.

Yeah they send out enough emails with sales, but they don't always answer my emailed questions. At this point they don't offer anything I want as they don't have very many options for light bearing pistols. Plus re-holstering is tough with that style of holster.

Their quality of construction is excellent though, and they are comfy.

Glad they are finally getting you situated.
