Installing reduced TRS & floating pin in c100
« on: December 15, 2018, 05:01:42 PM »
I purchased a c100 a few weeks ago and noticed the TRS is much stiffer and larger diameter than the one on my p09. So I looked at several post on the forum about replacing the TRS and roll pin with a reduced power TRS and floating pin. I ordered both from CGW.
After watching several install videos I realized none I found showed just installing a TRS spring on a Tristar pistol. My question is, all I want to do is install the new TRS and floating pin. Can I do that on the c100 without having to pull the sear block, basically dissembling the frame? I noticed several videos showed it being done on a CZ75 but the 75 has a slot in the frame for the long side of the TRS and the T100 has a hole in the frame you have to put it in.
This in my first post so if I am asking a question that is not appropriate for this forum please tell me.
Thanks,

I think it CAN be done - I do not know how.  You will need to somehow hold the spring in place while inserting the pin.  Some type of round/u shaped device might be the trick.
