My P07 jammed on me
« on: December 24, 2018, 03:02:32 PM »
I was shooting my P07 and pulled trigger and nothing. Slide would then only rack slightly couple times then unfired round fell out. I assume this is a FTF?  New to handguns so I took it to Budsgunshop, where I bought the gun. They are sending to CZ. I have other guns but I enjoy shooting the P07. Anyone have any problems with P07 or know how long it will take them to return. Should I trust it when it does return?  Appreciate your input. Thanks.

Okay, your description has me totally confused  ???.  When you say "pulled trigger and nothing", what exactly does that mean?  You couldn't pull the trigger?  The hammer wouldn't/didn't drop?  Both the above worked, but it went click instead of bang?  Something else?

Next, what does slide would only rack slightly mean?  And where did the unfired round fall out of?  Was the primer dimpled normally or at all?  Did you quit shooting, or did you try to fire it again?  Not trying to be a jerk here, but as you can see, your post raises more questions that need to be answered before anyone can begin to offer suggestions.  Later.

Sounds like an overlength round caused the gun to fail to go fully in to battery and eventually pulled free. This would be an ammo issue not a gun issue but without some better described info hard to be sure.

Dont send it back. Its probably just an ammo issue. no need to wait a month or more for your gun to go back for a "warranty" repair.

Answers to daved and Eastman?s questions should definitely tell the tale. My guess is also ammo-related tho.

If you look at the OP 's posts ,he doesn't seem to be happy with many of his guns and doesn't shoot them very well from what he says.
Might be a combination of junk ammo and limp wristing. Just a thought.
