Flash light options
« on: January 08, 2019, 07:21:34 PM »
With minimal room on the pistol handguard, what easy to use options are recommended for flashlight applications on the Scorpion pistol?  I'd like to hear your experiences.  Thanks for your time.

My main issue with this light is it's easy to turn on.  So in my bag,  it may turn on and drain the battery... I put a plastic piece between the battery when in the bag.

TLR1-HL with long gun kit(pressure pad). I put pressure pad on left rail, light on right rail. Hold weapon with left hand around magwell and use left thumb to actuate.

Crimson Trace grip with light and green laser.  In order to legally mount the vertical grip, it has to be SBR'd.

Olight PL-2 Valkyrie

Im right handed and operate my scorpion like that of an AK. With my supporting hand I actuate the light with the fingers very comfortably. In the photo it looks like the charging handle is very close to the olight- it isnt in reality.

I tried a Mini on the Scorpion, rt side, way to awkward to operate.  TLR on the right side is pretty easy to work with the left hand.

TLR8(with laser) on my carbines so sure will look better on Evo pistol. We can?t get the pistols in Cali. Index finger lands perfect on button to activate with my foregrips.

songmeesay, I really like the looks of your light set up and I would like to set mine up like that. I can't tell from the photo what parts I would need. Can you show more detail and list the parts?

That's actually a screenshot I pulled from from someone's IG. I was just curious how heavy or not it maybe. From what I can tell from the video he's using a thorntail 1913 picatinny mount and has the pressure all on the right side rail.
