Just completed a 2-day Tactical Handgun training course with Ernest Langdon. It was an excellent and demanding experience that pushed me beyond my comfort zone, exposed my shooting flaws and bad habits to continue to work on, and I learned
a ton. Coming from an educational background, I pay a fair bit of attention to teaching techniques, and Ernest isn't just a highly qualified shooter with a seriously impressive background - he's also someone who takes the teaching side of things seriously and clearly does his homework on teaching techniques and learning styles. In addition, I knew that if I was going to invest in a training opportunity, I really wanted to seek out an instructor who fully understands the DA/SA platform and really knows how to run them. If you know anything about Ernest, you know he's on the 'short list' in this regard.
Overall, it was a completely worthwhile weekend and if you've been considering doing a class with Ernest, I would highly recommend him.
I ran my SP-01 Tac on day 1 and my P-07 on day 2, putting 1,000 rounds through them. Zero issues, of course.
